Ganguro Fashion

Ganguro is

an alternative Fashion trend that consists of bleached hair and tanned skin that started in the early 90's and peaked it's popularity around the year 2000, among Japanese women and still remains evident today.

Yamanba and Manba are terms used to describe extreme practitioners of ganguro fashion.

Manba- dark tans with white lipstick, pastel eye make-up, metallic or glittery stickers below the eyes, circle lenses,bright coloured clothing, and bold accessories, usually hawaiian leis

Yamanba- darker tans,bright multi colored hair, white lipstick with pastel eye makeup around and below the eye, the wool dreadlocks ,and super cute bracelets usually stuffed animal bracelets ,bright colored clothing and platforms.
